Rise Basketball Academies provides an advanced alternative to high school basketball. Long gone are the days of being able to suit up for the local high school and play only during the season. In order to be an impact player, or have the opportunity to have one’s education paid for, players must prepare and play year round. Prep basketball has become the leader of wintertime exposure for good high school basketball players. When playing at a prep school, there are no cupcakes in terms of the competition. In fact, practices are typically harder then most games, which is why so many college coaches attend prep practices.
Annually, Rise Basketball Academies plays in front of over 250 college coaches with 3 out of 4 seniors receiving Division 1 offers. RBA distinguishes itself from other programs because it seeks better competition and travels throughout twelve different states to find it.
Also, RBA, unlike some others, recruits for quality not quantity. Everyone is a capable player at RBA. There are two teams that are equally split. Our main goal is to develop the individual first, and then allow him to make his teammates better, which typically then results in winning.
This program also is designed to put quality high school basketball players in a position to showcase their abilities as well as succeed while doing so. The formula is simple, yet so many people try to do it a different way. Our reputation speaks for itself, and we are doing it with hard work and dedication.
The objective and goal at RBA is to get our players recruited to all levels of the NCAA on either a full or partial athletic scholarship, or a well put together financial aid package that will in turn save parents, as well as kids, thousands of dollars. RBA cares about winning, but the prize is the scholarship at the end of the day.
Exposure:
Rise Basketball Academies offers exposure opportunities to those looking to play college basketball. Rise competes against the best prep schools, some junior colleges, and good high schools from coast to coast. Player profiles and updates are sent to different colleges across the country to help players attending the academy gain exposure and recognition among the college community. The exposure received at Rise comes in many forms and programs from elite camps, AAU tournaments, Top 100 shootouts, All-Star Games, Prep Schools, Scouting Service assessments and coach’s invitations, to emails, phone calls, and profile exposure via taping of performances and workouts.
RBA prides itself on having developed 20-year relationships with hundreds of college coaches. The college you attend might only be a phone call away. Grassroots basketball is still a “word of mouth” industry. Budgets are not endless, and people rely on others to evaluate talent for them. With the relationships we have built over the years, our credibility allows us to bring in coaches that may not spend their time coming to a regular practice or visiting a program they don’t know. Coming to the Rise Basketball Academy can make all of the difference!
